SEO stands for “search engine optimization”
Oddly enough, everyone seems to have learned about and uses the expression “SEO” but a majority of have no clue what SEO means.
Why do I need SEO for my website?

Have you considered guest posting?
Strive for relevant links on other high ranking websites that are connected with your website’s subject matter. Unfortunately, getting links on high ranking websites can be very nearly impossible to find. Guest posting on related authority websites may help.
Get involved in Google + and YouTube. This one is a no-brainer. They are both belonging to Google which stands to reason as to why they can influence your ranking.

2018 Update – What’s Working (and not working) for SEO as of late?

- Focusing on long tail keywords
- Not proactively building links
What??? The first two has come about as a bit of a shock but the third makes sense. But as Miguel says churning out new content with long tail keywords is basically a waste of time these days.
Ok, okay so what IS helping effective SEO these days?
According to Miguel, the following are much more productive strategies of search engine optimization. The bottom line is focusing in on finding excellent resources, which is people that have the ability to share and to create links aimed at your web.
- Proven Content Frameworks
- Content Promotion and Link building
- UX Signal Optimization
If a couple of the above mentioned bullet points seem to be a bit obscure, well that produces sense!
